Blackbreeze Fixes iTunes 9.1 and Blackra1n Issue for Jailbroken iPhone

As mentioned in the previous post, user using blackra1n jailbroken iPhone may experience sync problem with iTunes v9.1. Fortunately, few hours after iTunes 9.1 release, iH8Sn0w has come up with a fix for blackra1n.

According to iH8Sn0w, the iPhone hacker who also developed sn0wbreeze and f0recast, the sync issues are only being experienced by Windows users using blackra1n jailbreak. If you are using Mac, you are safe to upgrade to iTunes 9.1.

In order to fix the blackra1n issue with iTunes 9.1, the developer comes up with a tool named blackbreeze. If you have accidentally upgraded iTunes to 9.1 and experienced the sync issue, you can follow these procedures to apply the fix.

1. Download blackbreeze from iH8Sn0w or mirror site.

2. (Optional) Download blackra1n RC3 from blackra1n.com. If you have downloaded the file before, you can skip this step.

3. Launch blackbreeze.exe

4. Click on “Fix my ra1n!” button and select the blackra1n.exe file on your computer. Once located the file, blackbreeze will start fixing the blackra1n.

When finish, blackbreeze creates a new file named “blackra1n-fix.exe”. You can then use this blackra1n file to jailbreak your iPhone again. If you have forgotten the jailbreak procedures, you can refer to this jailbreak guide for details.

As always, let us know if the fix works for you and feel free to leave us comment should you find any problems.
