iPhone 4G Previewed: Is it Real? Do you Like it?
Over the weekend, there are a huge excitement surrounded by a set of iPhone 4G (or iPhone HD) photos surfaced by Engadget. We do not know if the iPhone 4G is real or not. However, a few hours ago, Gizmodo has published a detailed post about the device – claiming that it’s the next gen iPhone. It’s a real device that was said to be found lost in a bar in Redwood City.
Folks at Gizmodo said they have played with it for around a week and are quite confident that the device is the upcoming generation of iPhone:
We get false tips all the time. But after playing with it for about a week—the overall quality feels exactly like a finished final Apple phone—and disassembling this unit, there is so much evidence stacked in its favor, that there’s very little possibility that it’s a fake. In fact, the possibility is almost none. Imagine someone having to use Apple components to design a functioning phone, from scratch, and then disseminating it to people around the world. Pretty much impossible.
Despite all the evidence, I’m still skeptical if it’s the finished product. Anyway, base on Gizmodo’s hands-on report, here are the new features or changes you’ll probably see in the upcoming iPhone 4G:
- Front-facing camera to support video chat
- Improved back camera with flash
- Micro-SIM instead of regular SIM (just like the iPad)
- Improved display with higher resolution screen (exact dimensions unknown but could be the rumored 960×640)
- Potential second mic for noise cancellation
- Power, mute, and volume buttons are all metallic
- Flat form-factor with an aluminum border going completely around the outside
- Slightly smaller than iPhone 3GS but 3 grams heavier
- Battery is 16% bigger (longer battery life, hopefully)

Do you believe it’s a real iPhone 4G? If it’s genuine, do you like it?
